Elliot Hannon is a London-based journalist, working as a tv/podcast producer, as well as writing and reporting for international news media. He was previously a staff writer at Slate magazine, and a Washington, DC-based producer at NPR’s Morning Edition, Weekend Edition, and Weekend All Things Considered. Elliot spent four years as a foreign correspondent in New Delhi covering India for Time magazine and NPR, as well as writing for the New York Times, Foreign Policy, The Daily Beast, among others. He also reported radio stories for PRI's The World and Marketplace. Elliot kicked off his journalism career as a graduate student in South Africa, trailing Brangelina around Namibia for the Washington Post (Travel) as they looked to have their baby there. He has also written for the New Yorker about a small town's lottery that went viral and the surprising success of Pakistan’s national baseball team.
